Does it make you anxious?
Knowing that Earth’s death is inevitable

Could you live with yourself?
Not as a contributor but
a bystander to humanity’s crimes
that bring Earth’s deadline just
a little closer than it should be.

Are all the plastic and styrofoam containers worth it?
Is the disposableness more satisfying
than reusing, is oney that infinite to you?

Does it make you anxious
that we might witness the last day
not on a VR headset
But right in front of your eyes?

Do you not feel purpose in
changing the course of the future?
It won’t happen with one or two of us
but
That’s two more of a start

If the ball never drops
